The total shown before you pay is the total charged. Nothing is added afterwards.
The three numbers we always show
First, the value that lands on the phone. Second, our service cost. Third, the exchange rate applied.
All three appear on the same screen, before you confirm. You never have to work one out from the others.
No margin hidden in the rate
The oldest trick in cross-border payments is a zero fee paired with a poor exchange rate. The cost is still there. It has just moved somewhere harder to see.
We print the rate we use. If you want to check it against a public reference, please do.
Why the service cost varies
Different countries cost different amounts to reach. Local taxes differ. Settlement terms differ. Operator agreements differ.
A single flat global fee would mean overcharging some destinations to subsidise others. We would rather show the real figure.
No account fee
Holding an account is free. Setting up a recurring rule is free. Pausing or cancelling one is free.
You are charged when a top-up sends. That is the only moment.
If a top-up fails
You are not charged for a recharge that does not deliver. The money returns to the method you paid with.
