VirtualPhone

We built the route ourselves

VirtualPhone sends mobile top-ups across borders. Airtime and data, onto prepaid lines in more than 80 countries. We started because the other options were tiring to use.

Not broken, exactly. Just slow, vague about cost, and quiet when a recharge went wrong. Someone waiting on credit deserves better than a spinner and a guess.

What the network reaches

These three figures shape every decision below. They are the reason we stopped buying routes from other people and started building our own.

  • 80+ countries you can send credit to today
  • 230+ direct Tier-1 and Tier-2 operator links
  • 5–7s average time from cleared payment to credit

Four rules we run the company by

Each one costs us something. That is rather the point. A rule you can drop when it gets awkward was never a rule.

Write to us at [email protected] if you ever see us break one.

  1. Go direct, not through a chain

Most top-up sites resell a route. Your request passes through several hands before a carrier ever sees it. Each hand adds delay. Each one adds a place a recharge can stall in silence. We hold more than 230 direct operator links instead.

  2. Show the whole cost first

Airtime value, service fee and the exchange rate sit on one screen before you pay. We do not bury a margin inside the rate. It costs us revenue that rivals quietly collect. We think it buys something better.

  3. Publish the number the sender feels

We time delivery from the moment your payment clears to the moment the operator confirms the credit. The average lands between five and seven seconds. Timing only our own systems would flatter us and help nobody.

Send a top-up and time it
  4. Treat card data as someone else's

We run to PCI-DSS Level 1 and we never store raw card numbers. Personal data is handled under GDPR rules. A card is trust, not a record to keep sitting on a disk.

Send one and judge us on it

The fastest way to know whether any of this is true is to top up a phone and watch the clock. If a recharge stalls, tell us. We answer with what happened, not with a script.
